ENZO MARI
He was born in Novara in 1932; he has always worked following many directions, linked together by a deep reflection on "shape" and "plan" concepts. Since the end of 50's, just as a visual arts philologist, he has been interesting also in design.
He cooperated with many Italian firms (among the most famous ones, we remember Alessi, Arnolfo di Cambio, Interflex, Kartell, KPM, Lema, Magis, Olivetti, Zanotta). Some of his works of art and design belong to several museum collections, such as MOMA, in New York and the Milan Triennial. Thanks to his research work, he received many awards, such as the "4 Compasso D'Oro".
