Estel, I 5 Sensi dell’habitat. The name adopted in 2007, when the sectors Office and Home fused, emphasizes the furnishing global concept of the company founded by Alfredo Stella in 1937 and conjugates the furniture and design culture, the passion for materials, designing and industrial talents.
After the first great marketing success represented by the wardrobe with sliding doors Estensibile Stella of the 70s, the following years mark an exceptional growth with the emergence of the Progetto Ufficio (Office Project), setting the beginning of a production that represents the 85% of the total turnover of the group, exceeding the 130 million Euros in 2008.
Besides the concept of design, quality and convenience; in 2000, Custom and Service divisions were added, which following thoroughly the designing, production and assistance with an adequate transportation, assembly, post-sales maintenance service, have allowed in 2008 to produce more than 2,000 building sites in Italy and Europe.
A new way of thought that conceives the man at the first place, conjugating innovation, comfort, relax and ergonomics, essential ingredients for an offer that ranges from reception to lounges, from high design halls to working sites.
With highly customised projects and above all, with technological and materials competence, the continuous dialogue with the customers allows to understand the demands and then optimise the flexibility, logistics and speed. Estel Custom makes executive seats, car dealers, bank branches, insurance agencies, university classrooms, vessels, with a precise tone and character: the valorisation of the customer identity.
Important acquisitions were accomplished in 2005: Frighetto, company specialized in production of upholstered and living furniture, Contin, antique furniture of Thiene, born in 1924. Hand-crafted laboratory specialized in custom-made high quality furniture products.
Deko Collezioni, in 2006, completes the custom range: company in Parma, leader in the production of armchairs and seats for auditorium, congress, theatres, stadiums and university brings a strong know how in the designing of large equipments.
From 2008, the most prestigious acquisition of Estel, in the furniture and design sector: in fact, from February 14th, with the new denomination Author design, the brands Simon, Arte & Cuoio, Triangolo, Zeritalia, Sica have become part of the group, bringing a true added value to the consolidated prestige of the company from the Veneto.
A common characteristic is the endless tension towards the research of furniture solutions united to the awareness of creating true excellent products.
