Restpod is a multisensory module designed according to biophilic principles and evidence-based design to offer people regenerative breaks.
An innovative space for an immersive experience that can help improve the quality of life and work for every employee.
Several studies have shown the importance of taking micro-breaks in contact with nature during the workday. Just a few minutes are enough to relieve stress, restore attentional capacity, and foster positive emotions.

Restpod is a project developed by ODUElab in collaboration with the APsyM LAB of the Department of Human Sciences at the University of Verona. Produced and distributed by ESTEL Group.

Restpod integrates scientific research findings in the field of environmental psychology with innovative regenerative design solutions that promote employee wellbeing.
Within the space, each user can experience a stronger connection with nature and a positive emotional state thanks to the synergy of all the elements involved.
The immersive quality of the experience is enhanced by the regenerative videos by Alamar Life, developed according to biophilic principles to stimulate users both visually and acoustically.

Inside Restpod, the wellbeing experience is enhanced by a layout designed to combine nature and comfort. Strelitzia Nicolai and Kentia Forsteriana plants help improve air quality by counteracting indoor pollutants such as formaldehyde, CO₂, and benzene.
A stabilized moss-lichen wall—antistatic, antibacterial, and fire-certified—defines the space with natural textures that require no maintenance.
The area is furnished with a shaped chaise longue and a jute rug, complemented by soft, natural fabrics that evoke an atmosphere of elegance and comfort.

The Restpod is designed with an extruded and die-cast aluminum structure, with visible painted finishes, and can be installed on the floor using adjustable feet.
The modular walls can be glazed or solid, straight or curved, with a double-layer wooden panel and aluminum frame to ensure strength and insulation.
A digital touch panel allows users to select regenerative content and adjust parameters such as lighting, volume, and mechanical ventilation.
The lighting system integrates dimmable ceiling LEDs and a floor lamp for a more domestic feel.
Air quality is monitored by sensors measuring temperature, humidity, and CO₂, while ceiling fans and the VMC system ensure optimal air exchange.
The door, featuring extruded PVC seals and a guillotine system, adapts to the floor and provides high acoustic insulation.
